PROJECT/BUSINESS ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION

The HR PMO Project Manager/Business Analyst (PM/BA) is responsible for the successful delivery of HR Enterprise Programs. Project Management and Business Analysis are the core functions of this role.

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

You will contribute specialist business analysis, project management and product knowledge to handle and lead all aspects of a project from initiation through to delivery and product launch.

You will serve as a liaison between the business and our client to ensure all targets and requirements are not only met but the project is completed on time and within budget while utilizing expert change management skills.

We develop technical and functional solutions to business problems by defining, analyzing and documenting requirements. Handle requirements at the project level and assisting with the business cases as needed.

Conduct problem resolution through Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Track and assign resources, provides status updates, crafts metrics and performs overall management of the project timeline, budget and work.

REQUIREMENTS OF ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related business discipline

  • Have 3+ years of experience in PM/BA roles

  • Experience working with business requirements (technical and functional) gathering, design, documentation, or similar role

  • Solid skills related to business analysis techniques, including Use Case/User Story creation, Role Matrixes, wire-frames and data gathering; testing based analysis and behavior based analysis

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • You will be a stickler for detail with the ability to craft quality documentation including functional and technical specifications.

  • Ability to get going quickly from day one - self-starter with solid organizational skills.

  • Possess top-notch interpersonal skills with proven customer-facing experience and presentation skills.

  • Very personable with second to none stakeholder management and relationship building skills.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels of an organization internally and externally.

  • Ability to multi-task and lead multiple priorities while working independently.

  • CBAP or Six Sigma similar certifications are a PLUS.

  • Experience working in HR in project management or business analysis preferred
