The SPM Specialist drives supplier relationship improvement through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and project support. The SPM Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining effective internal client relationships by relating to and gaining confidence of key internal stakeholders.

You’ll work with those stakeholders and their suppliers across the organization to run supplier scorecards and develop, maintain, and continuously improve the supplier performance rating system. Ultimately, an effective supplier scorecard process has a direct positive impact on customer engagement and retention

Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Drive supplier relationship improvement through data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and project support.

  • Maintain effective internal client relationship management.

  • Run periodic supplier scorecards

  • Support the objectives and operating plans for introduction and ongoing management of new and existing scorecards

  • Provide regular status updates of scorecards to the SPM Manager

  • Support the development of supplier-specific performance criteria through interaction with business stakeholders

  • Collect and analyze metrics data from internal stakeholders and third parties

  • Work with management to develop, maintain, and continuously improve data collection process, data analysis and results presentation

  • Attend executive briefings as required

Basic Qualifications for Consideration :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships throughout the organization. Business analysis skills to enable efficient, accurate and objective decision making

  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written and verbal communications, group presentation skills

  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • 3 years’ experience in Supplier/Vendor management experience with a technology focus

  • Job related experience in financial services and related technology a plus

Travel required : Little, if any travel required

Who We Are: Supplier Performance Management (SPM) is a group within Fiserv’s Enterprise Sourcing Services organization. Our three primary responsibilities are:

Supplier scorecards- We work with internal sourcing managers, business unit vendor managers and other stakeholders to identify specific supplier performance metrics to measure and monitor via a periodic. Supplier input and ongoing participation in the process is encouraged Supplier Spend Analysis- We gather, categorize and analyze supplier spend data. The data is used in a variety of ways. Including sourcing project opportunity identification and compliance monitoring. Supplier management compliance monitoring- We utilize the capabilities of the supplier information management system to monitor and report on business unit compliance with the Supplier Management policy
