Position Description

What does a great Help Desk Support Specialist do?

At Fiserv, you can look forward to providing our clients with technical support for specific product lines. This includes system evaluation, quality assurance, documentation review, and assisting with your client software installation. You are responsible for support to our customers via phone in this position.

You will handle our client calls and issues by conducting your research and using your problem solving and analytical skills to find creative resolutions to reported problems. Clients will train on the features and operation of Premier software applications through your enablement of them to successfully use the product and achieve their business objectives. You are responsible for test changes to our existing software and assure existing features continue to work as required and changes work as expected. Prepare documentation and write Client Bulletins to announce fixes. You will conduct evaluation of specific application systems and study to help resolve all the client workflows and documents. Build and maintain your clients' high-level happiness and satisfaction that is measured via the annual survey.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • At least one year of experience working in a customer service and/or helpdesk environment highly preferred.

  • Confirmed abilities to fix desktop hardware and software issues.


Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • 4-year college degree preferred, equivalent work experience
