Position Description

What does an outstanding Internet Systems Analyst do?

You're the kind of person who readily initiative and enjoys problem As an Internet System Analyst, you can look forward to assisting in the implementation of InZternet/Intranet-ba sed applications and software as well as responsibility for handling the server base operating systems. You will be accountable for maintaining and upgrading servers and infrastructure components, as well as providing operational support. Additionally, you will:

  • Assist our clients with implementation and post-implementation support while providing excellent customer service.

  • Assist with the layout design and building talks to other Internet/Intranet or client/server software applications.

  • Assist with research and evaluating the selection of Internet/Intranet tools and technologies for your clients.

  • Develop and maintain operational procedures; document your test results; and make your recommendations for improvements when applicable.

  • Analyze web application traffic patterns and recommend necessary changes based on your analysis.

  • Maintain our website standards.

  • Pay attention to industry trends affecting your clients and all applicable technologies, including programming, security issues etc.

Basic qualification for consideration:

  • Minimum of 1+ years experience with Windows 2003 Server, IIS and SQL administration and/or database design.

  • Server hardware and infrastructure architecture experience required.

  • Server and application support skills required.

  • Network communications and/or programming experience, or related experience.

  • Familiarity with security, Internet Architecture, Routing, DNS, Firewalls, Load Balancing, connectivity, scalability, WWW, E-commerce.

  • Ability to provide after hours operational support and flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shift.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of web development experience and/or in web development field: programming languages such as C++, C# and Java.

  • 3 + years related industry experience with exposure to multiple platforms, especially knowledge and experience of internet banking applications.

  • Experience working with HTML, Web Authoring Tools and Graphics Tools and of how to document program design and maintenance.

  • The ability to communicate effectively with external and internal clients for the purpose of data gathering and design initiation.
