Position Description

About the Role: As a Digital Banking Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing digital channels and electronic payments relationships with clients across North America. These financial institutions are leveraging solutions from Fiserv to achieve best-of-breed solutions to better serve their consumers. These client relationships require an Account Executive that will act as their advocate and ambassador to Fiserv, with an unwavering commitment to exceed performance results for the client and for Fiserv.

As a member of a high preforming team, you will be accountable to maintain a book of business and to show positive growth in the following areas:

  • Retention

  • Cross sale of add-on products and services

  • Growth in product adoption & usage

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Present a polished and professional image

  • Extensive domestic travel – overnight stays

  • Build and maintain a pipeline that meets or exceeds your financial targets

  • Manage a regular meeting cadence with each client in territory – both onsite and remotely

  • Educate clients on Fiserv happenings and our impact to their organization

  • Create an easy environment for clients to interact and communicate with you and Fiserv

  • Ensure that clients are actively participating in Fiserv events (conferences, business unit advisory councils, surveys, etc) and strive to grow the client to a showcase status

  • Communicate with the appropriate management teams to ensure you have buy-in with the client strategy and the support should you need help

  • Advocate and lead cooperation and collaboration with other Fiserv business units to realize revenue growth, client value and satisfaction

  • Drive WIN–WIN experiences by negotiating large deals, including lengthy, multi-team/multi-product opportunities

  • Understand a client’s overall strategic direction

  • Build long-term relationships, develop strategies, and support buyers and decision makers in client organizations that are aligned with the client strategic initiatives & partnership expectations

  • Analyze and keep abreast of significant market changes (trends, issues, M&A activity and corporate developments) and provide valuable insights that mitigate and manage risk to Fiserv and our clients Performs other duties as required

  • Shepherd client operational escalations to resolution

Required Qualifications:

  • Education – Bachelor’s or other applicable business discipline

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Client relationship management, service deliver and/or sales to C-Level experience

  • Prior experience developing complex account strategies and plan leading to increased client referenceability, revenue growth, sales, and end customer product usage

  • Prior Financial Services Knowledge: Bank and/or Credit Union strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication skills: Written, Oral and Presentation

  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office tools

  • Ability to travel 65%, overnight stays
