Position Description

What makes an exceptional Client Executive?

We are looking for a Client Executive to join our Fiserv Biller Solutions Account Management, Inside Sales team. The person in this role will deliver superior level of Service & Sales the education, development, and can-do management of existing key clients. Account Executives are responsible and accountable for decision-making that will focus on the following results:

  • Achieve assigned revenue targets and assigned Sales quota

  • Successfully negotiate and execute targeted Client Renewal agreements

  • Pursue and close add-on sales with existing Clients, such as, new payment channels, new payment types, new lines of business, and additional Fiserv products/services

As a Client Executive, you will:

  • Conducts outreach and exploratory phone calls and web meetings with smaller accounts to maintain communications and to uncover and pursue potential new business opportunities. Occasional travel may be required for larger client opportunities.

  • You will be responsible for actively conducting analysis of portfolio metrics and individual client research to optimize product activity that will drive value for our external customers

  • You will participate in quarterly territory reviews for internal executive management team members. Additionally, you will work closely with Key Clients to negotiate timely, profitable, low-risk, multi-year renewals

  • You will engage in effective forecasting and budgeting of key metrics for assigned client accounts

  • Identifies and pursues expansion opportunities within existing accounts and up-selling additional products/services, and assists with cross-business unit sales efforts

  • You will manages complex client relationships interfacing with senior management or C-level executives across Key Client relationships, each with annual revenues in the 6 to 7 figure range per annum.

  • Additionally, you will manage and maintain a sales pipeline (Fiserv utilizes Salesforce for CRM)

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience

  • Requires minimum of 5 years of account management or sales experience in a business-to-business environment or equivalent experience, including handling a personal sales quota; with 3+ years of experience in the financial services industry preferred.

  • Prior success in an Inside Sales role

  • Consistent track record in attaining/exceeding quota-based metrics for self, particularly in a telesales environment.

  • Computer-literate with minimum of 3 years’ experience with Salesforce.com (or similar eCRM tools), MS Office (to include Word, Excel, Porwerpoint and Outlook).

  • Ability to travel up to 25%. Additionally, must have own reliable transportation, valid drivers' license, auto insurance, and good driving record.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • Account planning and pipeline development experience preferred

  • Superb interpersonal skills that include internal communication of client opportunities, issues, customer concerns and external communication that includes key Fiserv messages.
