About the Role:
The Data Entry Clerk Associate has a very important role within Fiserv. Those in this position are responsible for accurately updating account numbers and addresses on file that impact our electronic and paper payment processing. The Data Entry Clerk Associate is responsible for a variation of tasks up to and including over 30+ tasks related to electronic payments. This is a complex position with some outbound calls with payee’s that receive payments with our Bill Pay service.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for entering account numbers and address corrections into different payment processing systems under direct supervision. This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating account numbers in the different payment processing systems, updating information via email requests, external customer requests, or completing departmental requests. The Data Entry Clerk Associate also sorts and prioritizes changes based on type of vendor, customer size, and zip code, decides what information needs updating, and keys information as deemed necessary. Other responsibilities include making outbound calls to confirm address changes, communicate with merchants as needed to obtain necessary information for problem resolution.

High School Diploma required
Minimum 6 months experience required
Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word) required
Ability to accurately key information and utilize and email system such as Notes
Minimum 6 months call center or phone work experience Excellent communication skills
Ability to research complex issues across multiple systems
Superior accuracy and quality Self-motivated and productive in a self -directed workgroup setting
Ability to stay focused on very repetitive tasks
Must be able to work independently as well as work in a team environment to meet deadlines
Display sense of urgency
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet all assigned deadlines in a rapidly changing and high pressure environment
Ability to work well with several groups are key factors
