About the Role:
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team in supporting and delivering financial services implementations for best-in-class products. The Project Manager position is responsible for project intake, delivery and short term post-production support while cultivating ongoing client relationships. This client facing position requires coordination between external clients and key internal partners. In addition, you will be vetting processes, requirements, management and provide feedback on PM operational improvements.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Leads projects from intake through final implementation, working with internal resources and external customers throughout
Defines scope, requirements and project timing for each initiative
Develops detailed work plans and schedules
Conducts internal and external project meetings and provides project tracking and analysis.
Coordinates with other project managers and organizational entities to identify and monitor issues, impacts and dependencies.
Prepares and conducts informal and formal presentations
Ownership of the change management process
Controls and tracks project performance, time allocations, cost, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings.
Supports occasional weekend production events
Documents new processes and procedures identified throughout the project relating to new product/feature functionality.
Job Related Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Project Management work experience
2 – 5 years project management experience with software development and/or implementation projects
Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired
Experience with requirements elicitation, validation and management
Experience with project management tools including MS Project and Clarity
