Position Description

What does a great Mobile Solutions Architect do?

Fiserv is looking to hire a mobile & HTML responsive Solutions Architect to join our agile team delivering digital consumer products. This role will be a member of the Agile product management team working with the business and chief architect to define the digital roadmap related to both consumer and client facing web and mobile solutions. The solution architect is responsible for providing SME knowledge for mobile/web architecture, architectural design, tech debt remediation, and risk.

  • You will provide domain expertise on mobile and HTML responsive technologies and standard methodologies

  • You participate in the development of the mobile and web roadmaps

  • You create conceptual and logical design of solutions

  • You handle architecture and security risk

What are the required qualifications you will need for consideration?

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, related field or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years architecture, advisory, or professional services experience in web development (Java, .Net) environment required

  • 2 years mobile development experience (Objective-C, Swift, etc.) required

  • 2 years Java HTML responsive development experience

  • Validated experience in Cloud Native architecture and development

  • Architectural leadership experience in Financial Services/Payments Industry experience preferred

  • Strong collaboration, written, and communication skills within distributed project teams

Preferred skills and experience that will help you stand out…

  • If you have iPhone/Android/Windows 8 SDKs and Deployment, that is a huge plus

  • TOGAF Certification

  • Mobile security and performance methodologies

  • Practical experience with Cloud and API technologies

  • Usage of development tools such as Xcode, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Interface Builder

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3

  • Experience with automation for testing, continuous integration, and build processes
