Position Description

What does a great Senior Product Manager – Integrations do?

In this position within the DNA Product Management team, you will be reporting to the VP, Product Management. As the Senior Product Manager-Integrations you will support and help define the overall integration strategy and priorities for both the Fiserv-DNA-surround product suite and the Fiserv DNA Core Banking platform. This includes the integration technology, pricing, bundling, API’s, Apps, etc.

An essential part of your role will be to work with Fiserv surround products to define and drive integration priorities along with working with Fiserv surround product teams to define specific integration projects. Examples of Fiserv surround teams include: digital, payments, enterprise content, statements and more. As the Senior Product Manager – Integration you will work on defining the requirements for the defined priorities. Based on market research, competitive trends, and client engagement, the objective is to define and build a premier integration experience for our clients. You will assist in the planning, business requirements, documentation and design of all related product enhancements throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.

As a Senior Product Manager – Integrations, you can look forward to:

You will be responsible for key product management technical deliverables including, maintenance of product roadmaps, buy-build-partner analysis, product profitability analysis, user and buyer personas, product launch plans, and status dashboards. Your expertise and knowledge will position you to provide daily support for internal and external clients on current and planned capabilities.

  • Research, analyze and monitor banking technology, and existing product integration to build a prioritized roadmap between DNA and Fiserv surround products

  • Support the DNA Full Use API Product – this includes API strategy and legal access for 3rd party integration

  • Work with DNA clients and prospects to understand their needs and clearly define solution requirements

  • Maintain integration product roadmaps coordinating with internal partners such as Development, QA, Implementations, Client Care, and Client Partners.

  • When appropriate, conduct buy-build-partner analysis and product profitability analysis to inform integration strategy decisions.

  • Build and maintain up-to-date User and Buyer Personas.

  • Assist in developing and executing product/feature launch plans

  • Craft Feature Request Forms (FRF) for define enhancement projects.

  • Ensures that the final user documentation effectively conveys the information the client needs.

  • Understand client impact of integration projects and oversee any required client notification/communications

  • Attend and help facilitates client participation in enhancements through monthly User Group Calls, Focus Group Calls, Release Support calls, and conferences.

  • Consultation and interaction with Fiserv surround -DNA Fiserv Product Managers

  • Support responding to Request for Proposal (RFP) questions submitted for DNA prospects

  • Support the DNA sales effort for prospects by participating in conference calls, completion of Request for Proposal (RFP) questions, client requirement and solution discussions.

You’re the kind of person who:

Has a background in Banking and Product Management along with some technical understanding of APIs to help drive our strategy around our DNA integrations across Fiserv’s key product offerings including a focus on Digital Edge.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:

Education:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of experience within the Banking and / or Credit Union industries.

  • 5+ years of information processing experience as it relates to the financial industry

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience

  • Integration experience is required. This includes a solid understanding of integration technology, API’s, and banking technology

  • You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills since this position requires extensive communication between technical and non-technical audiences.

  • You are self-directed and highly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • You thrive in a dynamic environment.

  • You have strong planning skills.

  • You are able to handle multiple priorities at a time.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

  • Occasional business related travel (not more than 20 -25%) may be required to attend Fiserv meetings, conferences, client visits, and sales opportunities with prospects.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Remote and on the phone for meetings
