Technical Maintenance Generalist
Shift Information: 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday 4:00 pm- 12:30 am

Insuring proper operation of production machinery through preventive maintenance, adjustments - (including operator adjustments), repair, refurbishing, and rebuilding. Follow up to verify repairs are complete. Learn and be able to perform operator setups and adjustments on multiple equipment lines. Comply with all general work rules including housekeeping, safety and quality – required to keep own general work area clean and organized. Work from verbal or written instructions, service manuals, parts catalogs etc. Use hand tools and precision devices. Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as work schedules require. In peak periods additional overtime is required. Be able to troubleshoot operator and machine set up issues. Follow all Fiserv SOP’s and safety measures.
Work requires incumbent to be able to be standing, kneeling, crouching, or walking for entire shift. Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Must be able to reach, grab, hold, and lift objects. Ability to use hands to operate hand tools, perform keyboarding, and operate machinery. Be able to work in dimly lit areas of the machinery and to distinguish color differences, especially when working with electrical/electronic devices.
Education and Experience:
Generally High School Diploma or equivalent, Good mechanical aptitude must be comfortable operating a computer workstation. Up to 1 year experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment. Strong knowledge of production operation Time classified in the specific job classifications does not automatically qualify an individual. In addition to the time guidelines, an individual must meet all other job requirements and a company approved job opening must exist.
Associates degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, equivalent military training, or equivalent experience. Experience operating and setting up production machinery. Knowledge of soldering. Ability to use a multi-meter. Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams
Functional Area Skills/Knowledge:
Requires efficient PC user. Requires the ability to stay under control while working with continually changing multi-tasks in a deadline work environment. Must have good warehousing and inventory skills and knowledge to perform efficiently and provide quality services and timely delivery.
