Position Description

About the Role: The Implementation Project Specialist is responsible for the project management of add on products for existing CPS clients onto Fiserv EFT platforms. This position will schedule and coordinate they key activities with internal departments, external vendors and the client to ensure the client installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements. This position provides exciting challenges with the opportunity to learn and manage a variety of different project types. The experience gained in this role positions incumbents to become invaluable subject matter experts playing a critical role in the satisfaction of our clients.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as primary project contact for clients and internal groups for client related development, testing, implementation readiness and final implementation.

  • Provide continuous project feedback and status updates to key stakeholders.

  • Develop project plans and related task lists as necessary, update plans accordingly.

  • Analyzes client customization requirements and creates the appropriate specifications to meet those needs.

  • Researches and prepares service reports, custom programming requests and project requests to meet the needs of the client.

  • Manage multiple implementation tasks with other internal groups to ensure project completion in accordance with client requirements.

  • Develop and maintain professional client relationships and manage expectations with respect to live dates and other key timelines.

  • Occasional after hour support of client implementations.

  • Work with resource managers to create capacity plan and resource forecasting

  • Work with project managers and project teams to ensure internal project audit points are managed and tracked

  • Develop and maintain consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes.

  • Represent the department for internal special projects.

  • Performs other duties as required

Required Qualifications: Education

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous client services or relationship management experience

  • Previous financial industry, installations, or project management experience highly desired

  • Previous VisionPlus knowledge/experience strongly preferred.

Additional Skills/Knowledge:

  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook and Word).

  • Strong organization and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to manage projects and lead a team.

  • Excellent customer services skills with the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure.

  • Strong level of project management knowledge including the ability to effectively manage and prioritize projects, issues and tasks.

  • Strong sense of accountability and follow through, effective problem solving skills as well as a commitment to positive solutions and the client experience.

  • The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • The ability to occasionally provide afterhours support for client implementations.
