What does the Sales Director, Sentry Managed IT Services do?
The Sales Director, Sentry Managed IT Services is one of the most important roles for Fiserv to drive a company and industry wide push to grow our managed services business with a heavy focus on our IaaS and Cyber Security offerings. You’ll be able to capitalize on two of the largest growing spends areas in the market while securing our country’s financial institutions from bad actors.
Your team will be armed with a strong portfolio of end-to-end managed IT services with specific value add features important to Financial Services customers. Target segment for your team will be Banks and Credit Unions with assets $500M+ under management; all of which already have some level of existing Fiserv relationship.
This role will be highly visible the senior executives within Fiserv and success comes with high praise, recognition and reward.
As the Sales Director, Sentry Managed IT Services, you will:
Be responsible for Sentry Sales quota at the management level.
You will provide management oversight to Sales executives to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment.
Act as coach, mentor and educator to all Sales Executives within your territory.
Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution.
We want you to identify needed resources for supporting sales strategy and develop a proposed budget for Senior Management review.
We need you to select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.
You will be keeping senior leadership informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
Act as a trusted advisor to build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into Fiserv opportunities.
You will be develop and execute on territory and account planning strategy/tactics to generate demand, cultivate leads and generate sales.
Maintain and use overall cross-portfolio knowledge to support and coach your sales executives for cross sale opportunities.
Responsible for sales planning and accurate sales revenue forecasting for your assigned territory.
Considered an expert in knowledge of products, solution or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large solution.
Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives.
Performs other duties as required
Qualifications for consideration:
Must have in-depth sales/industry knowledge in Managed IT Services
8+ years of Sales experience; 5+ years of experience selling “Managed Security Services” a requirement.
3+ year experience in a people manager role
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface
Strong understanding of managed IT services and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
An aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems.
Experience as a successful Sales Manager with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas in contiguous, multiple years.
Excellent written, verbal and formal presentation skills to client and partner audiences ranging from industry business knowledge to technical implementation levels
Ability to travel 50% - 75%.
Preferred qualifications :
Past experience selling managed infrastructure, cloud, network and unified communications services.
Experience selling security solutions to the Financial Services Industry
Previous experience complex deals: multi business unit, multi-product line and multi-partner
Understand the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required with years of experience and consistent track record
