Fiserv Implementation Coordinator in Parsippany, New Jersey

Position Description


In this position, you will act as a primary project coordinator for clients and internal Fiserv groups. You will provide technical expertise, establish system parameters, coordinate key activities with internal groups, and may work with external vendors to ensure the installation process is completed on time and in accordance with client requirements. Establish all EPOC data bases, Card Management and other system parameters and configurations required to correctly process client’s card base and transactions. We are looking for high-energy self-starter with a good sense of ownership, accountability and attention to detail

  • Support Implementation Project Specialist to oversee timely and accurate production environments.

  • Verify system parameter set up and perform encryption validation/testing as part of card production process as well as add report distributions for clients.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to other Implementation Project Specialist.

  • Significant data entry required.

  • You will provide client conversion support as needed to ensure successful customer conversions and finish the tasks assigned as outlined in the task lists.

  • Provide occasional after hour support of client implementations

  • Maintain consistent standards for project status reporting for internal and external purposes

  • Minimum education requirement - Associate Degree or 3 years of data processing or financial services industry experience required

  • Three years or more experience in data processing or financial services industry preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient core computer skills (Microsoft Office).

  • Technical capability for utilizing computer systems—experience with setting of processing parameters preferred.

  • Knowledge of payment network operating rules, industry standards, card requirements, debit/credit processing and PIN-generation methodologies preferred.

  • Ability to adjust shift and work additional hours to support client conversions.

  • Ability to work in a team atmosphere.

  • Time management skills to work on multiple projects and effectively meet deadlines.


  • Knowledge of internal Fiserv Card Services systems a plus, but not required.

  • Project management or financial industry experience
