Investment Services (IS) is a division of Fiserv, (NASD: FISV). Our Investment Services division makes it easy to invest and manage money. Position Purpose:

Fiserv’s Investment Services has technology solutions that support both the Wealth Management and the Institutional market segments. Investment Services is the market leader for the Managed Account business and has over 4.3M portfolios running on its platform.

The VP, Sales and Client Management is responsible for retaining and growing the entire client base including national accounts, broker dealers and asset managers. These client relationships require a client management team that act as an advocate for the client and have an unwavering commitment to exceed performance results for the client and for Fiserv. This position is responsible for supporting Wealth Management and represents approximately $140 million of annual revenue.

The VP, Sales and Client Management is accountable for driving high levels of performance for their book of business in the following areas:

  • Client reference ability and retention

  • Organic revenue growth

  • Cross sale of add-on products and services

  • Growth in product adoption & usage

*Essential Job Responsibilities: *

Reporting directly into the President of Investment Services, this leadership role is responsible for managing a team of senior account executives while working with a cross-functional Fiserv leadership team including sales, product, marketing, and finance. Within this cross-functional team the VP, Client Management will lead key activities including but not limited to:

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving Fiserv’s sales goals

  • Represent Fiserv and partner with clients to support strategic objectives and growth strategy

  • Act as a change agent, keep a pulse on the market and voice of the client, and translate that into strategies and tactics to continually drive client referenceability and growth

  • Build and expand internal relationships and ensure alignment and coordination around how Fiserv manages and grows our client relationships

  • Coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support Fiserv’s sales objectives

  • Enhance sales capability and strength of team through active talent management and organizational design

  • Build talent by hiring, coaching, and mentoring a team of experienced senior account executives and delivery executives

  • Create a culture of excellence and success focused on high performance and engagement that helps position Fiserv as the market leader in financial services technology

Job Related Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in sales management within the financial services industry; experience with wealth management solutions preferred

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a leadership role with budget and management responsibilities, including coaching and leading managers and directors

  • Experience managing large financial institutions in the areas of relationship management, service delivery, and sales

  • Experience managing a book of business related to license, maintenance, professional services, and outsourcing technology solutions

  • Experience developing complex account strategies and plan leading to increased client reference ability, revenue growth, sales, and end customer product usage

  • Experience working in large organizations with matrix relationships and demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other applicable business discipline required; MBA preferred
